Adonai knows the way of the righteous |

For the LORD knows the way of the righteous (Psalm 1:6a KJV). |
In Hebrew, the theological term "omniscience" is sometimes rendered yediat hakkol: "knowledge of everything." Adonai knows all of the birds and animals in the earth (Psalm 50:11); He knows when people sit down and rise up (Psalm 139:2); He even knows what people are going to say before they say it (Psalm 139:4). |

Adonai knows the way of the righteous (tsaddikim). The righteous one (tsaddik) genuinely trusts in Adonai's provision for justification and acceptance through the sacrifice of Yeshua the Messiah as their personal kapparah (ransom) for sin. Adonai especially knows this inward heart attitude of the tsaddik since this constitutes the goal of His redemptive purposes: Adonai saves us in order to know us and to love us! Faith in His righteous way is our truth and our life (see John 14:6). |
